A Little Bit About our Team

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about the Baseball Beauties team. They are all wonderful people and some even help me out for FREE, believe it or not. Starting a new business can be tough and you need as much help and support as you can get! I really appreciate all the support that they have given me 🙂

As I mentioned before we hired an amazing Web Design firm: http://www.deographics.com/

They are is the process of building BaseballBeauties.com, Nate is their CEO and is also our project coordinator. He is great with sending me updates and answering my endless questions! (I have lots of questions about everything at all times, you don’t learn if you don’t ask questions)

Pictures are a HUGE part of Baseball Beauties, it’s arguably 1 of the top 3 most important features of our website. None the less without these cool pics Baseball Beauties would blend in with the rest of the other Social Networks out there. To make this happen for us we have the wonderful Rosalyn Lee. Rosalyn is an excellent photographer and a great friend to me 🙂 Her and I are a lot a like, we are both women in their mid 20s trying to make something our of our businesses (although she is a bit further ahead then I am) I try to learn from her every chance that I get!

Here is a little bit about Ro:

Rosalyn Lee

Rosalyn Lee has been behind the lens of a camera since she was eight, She does both commercial photography and fine art. To Rosalyn, it is not about the difference of the two, but about the merging of both. Rosalyn works with both traditional b/w film, and digital. She lives in the Bay Area. She has a Certificate of Achievement in Broadcasting and Communications and two BFA’s from CSEUB, one in photography and the other in graphic arts. Rosalyn enjoys pushing the boundaries of art and being creating with media melding. This is why she loves working with Baseball Beauties!

But before Baseball Beauties get in front of the camera, magic has to happened with Makeup and Hair. That’s where Lauren Huntley comes in. She transforms these girls into Baseball Beauties and does it well! Lauren is also a good friend, I’ve actually known her since high school!

But with make up and hair goes a sexy 50s inspired outfit and also the final touches to make our Photographs look special 🙂 This is were Elena comes in. She is 2 in 1 team member! She helps me style the outfits for our photo shoots and helps pick out the final shots along with making them look fabulous and one of a kind. Wait…. Elena is also a friend of mine 🙂 We met about 7 years ago at COM (the local JC) and we also share our Russian heritage

We may have a cool and savvy website int eh works but, we still need to advertise and get the word out there. This is where Danny comes in. Danny is our cartoon artist! I still don’t know how he does it, the cartoons are so MUCH fun 🙂 and are also great advertising tools. He created the cartoon that is currently featured on our YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/baseballbeauties

He has also created the “Baseball Beauties Services” cartoon, which I will be introducing in a couple weeks. And is currently working on our YouTube weekly variety show intro and closing.

Here is a little bit about Danny.

Danny

Danny

Currently Danny is working with a local SF Band the Greening, creating music videos. Then there is my dear friend Amy.

Amy

Amy

Amy and I met last summer and after hearing my idea, right away she wanted to get involved with Baseball Beauties. Amy is a mother of 3 and a BIG baseball fan. She is going to be the BLOGGER for the Baseball Beauties (FOR HER) side of the BLOG. Amy and I have weekly meetings where we go over all the things that are going on with BaseballBeauties that week. She is also in charge of merchandising, is going to be one of our featured Baseball Beauties and will be part of the Baseball Beauties weekly variety show!

Last but not least there is Nick, my boyfriend.

Nick

Nick

Nick is making the whole Baseball Beauties thing happened, by generously investing his time and money into this endeavor. Nick is the reason that I got interested in Baseball in the first place! Yes, most Russian people could care less about baseball, but by going to 100s of baseball games with Nick in different cities, I became interested and Baseball Beauties idea emerged 🙂 Thank you Nick! Nick has been passionate about baseball his whole life, starting off in Little League and playing all through college. Nick and I have 2 meetings a week and he is also going to be one of the BLOGGERS for the (FOR HIM) part of the Baseball Beauties BLOG.

You are probably wondering how I can date and work with someone at the same time… It can be tough at times, but we tend to get through the rough sports and take something from all of our mistakes. We used to work in the same office, but that quickly because WAY TOO stressful for both of us, so now I come into the office only twice a week and do the rest of my work from my home office. I love working at home, I get to wear PJs and spend lots of time with my doggies 🙂

I am really thankful that I have all these wonderful friends and people in my life who are willing to invest their time and energy into this project.

I hope this give you a better picture of our Baseball Beauties team!

And some day we may even expand….
